  It really not a 5 star or a one star place. First of all there are good people who work there and some of the birds are saved from horrendous conditions and rehabilitated. The original place could get very dirty, some of the staff/volunteers are pretty rude, some healthy birds are adopted immediately without any vetting. The money you pay for the adoption fee is absolutely not for profit but everything else is technically for beak cause and the money goes into the owners pocket which is fair for a business and not hidden although many reviewers seemed confused. Some of the profits possibly go back into bird care but not all. I volunteered there for a year and a half (~200 hours) scrubbing the floors and changing paper and water as well as donated some and felt like Tyler and Randall appreciated the help but the owner absolutely did not.
